  1. Stallions 2004 D1 Champions at the Meltdown

My credibility is not the issue. The problem i have is that people like to post (i`m paraphrasing) " congratulatiions to the stallions, but you know that it wasnt really fair because they did this...and they did that..." I have been a lurker for over a year but never joined the forum but i just felt the need to post my opinion.Whether it is a first post or 200th post ,does it really make a difference? . The goal of every team is to win at a tournament, period! The kids usually have fun amongst themselves in the room and off the ice. Come game time , the goal is to win. If it doesnt happen, that is ok too but in the end everyone wants to win a championship . There is no better feeling for a hockey team knowing you came to a tournament and played the best a team can play. (and beat the best) Do not get me wrong , i dont care if stallions win or lose .It is just that when they do win, there is always someone posting negatively. i just dont understand it. You want to talk negatively, we can talk about my son`s season (rousseau royal . not 2004 year).. absolute disaster..it was a joke.

Well, not to disrespect anyone but I have to give credit to the stallions for always bringing their "A" game and winning championship after championship. I have heard stories of unfair beefing up their team for certain divisions and tournaments, 'stealing players from other teams, dropping players that have been loyal to their own teams, etc.. Whatever. Fact is that all teams do it and the guys that say they don't are not being truthful. This is AAA hockey, best of the best. Everyone wants to win and those that say that it is ALL just for fun is bull******. Why else would we spend most of our lives in a arena most of the year not to mention all the money in training of the kids. The stallions do whatever it takes to win and everyone else complaining is just envious or jealous, period! You want to bash the stallions? bring your team to one of the tournaments and beat them on the ice. THEN,you have the freedom and bragging rights to say whatever you want. Until then, the champions remain on top until their defeat. I am not a stallions lover or hater but the fact remains that they deserve the respect that they have earned through training and consistency to produce the best players possible. Congrats to the stallions and all kids for their hard work and effort!
