There's mention that the jr canadiens should have been in the semi finale but who did they play. there were only 2 undefeated teams in pool a and it was ottawa and global. Both teams should have advanced. when speaking about +19, you have to ask who did they play against. It's funny that some one said that pool b was a regular strong and pool a was regular, but the 2 teams that were blown out came from pool b. Anyway, I pick ottawa from pool A to win.

nothing to celebrate man, dragons are not that strong when comparing to the rockets. They played 4 times and lost all 4 times. The rockets need to be playing aginst some of the stronger teams in the Thaaaq. You guys are too good for Ateq.

if the comment earlier about making assumptions was directed to me, It's not that i don't feel like the Wild are strong cause to beat the Ice dragons, you have to have a good team. I just think that they are very much beatable like many teams this year. I found last year, certain teams just couldn't lose. But this year, it seems as if everyone is beginning to catch up. The wild havfe two players that are extrodinaire. I think it was 16 and 20. We will see what the teams do.

the wild is a good team but I don't think they will win the tournament NRJ. Estacade looks really strong and the wolverines are not far behind. I am not really impressed with the wild. They have very talented players but as a whole they are very beatable like almost all of the teams right now.

something really smells fishy, but what can you do. As i much as I hate to admit it, they are the champs, perfect to be exact, and I have to give kudos where deserved. Some kids will always be ahead of the game, either u accept it or not. Disapointed should stay disappointed, cause it will not be the last time that .... I will stop theer cause i am not about to expose the situation. after reading all these posts, there were alot of hate for this team, starting with me. I will not retract my statements nor should I have to, but 1 thing I am not is jealous. And it is very obvious that a lot of people are/were jealous of that team. They won, good for them and we will be back here in a few months critiquing some other players. That's sports, and that's views and opinions. lasalle, you deserve what you achieved, but jus remember years like this only come once in a blue moon. next season will be a new and frustrating for may. laugh now, cry later lions!!!

I'm not one to defend Lasalle for anything But I will say this, anybody that complains at the end of their season is a little off mentally. Why wait like some other person had asked in an earlier post. By now, everyone has heard what happened, and to be forthcoming and objective as possible, you never confront a coach in front of people. That is something that you don't do. What kind of message are you sending to your kid? I understand that no one enjoys seeing their child being benched, but isn't this the time to explain to thier child why, and how it happens. I have subjected to my kids getting benched repeadly and as I said before it hurts, but it gives me the opportunity to explain and use the benching as a motivational tool to get better. From what I understood, was that Lasalle was really competitive, and there is nothing wrong with that. Should they have sat number 10 a few more times throughout the course of the season, I would say yes, but after all he is still a kid. Is or would it be fair to him that his parents spent a lot or time, energy, money to develop him as it is seen by his play, to have him on the bench. remember, he also wants to play. All this crying about running up the score, etc etc, is all bull. I have been through it and still go through it even today with my own. Lasalle never (lol) won anything, they are happy as any organization or team should be. Even with all my bashing, it turned out that they proved me wrong. So they don't pass, so what. It's Novice hockey. They have plenty of time to learn. There are a lot of emphasis on having fun, so why can he number 10 have fun. He should pass more, 100%. but all the remarks about him getting killed in Atom BB, is not warranted b/c you have kids who are able to pass and they get killed as well. Him getting killed will not be the result of not passing, it will be due to another reason.(lol) I am really surprised for all the hatred toward the team. Why doesn't someone play them to beat them so we all can be happy that they lost. Everyone is so worried about what lasalle did. Only time will tell if allowing a kid to showcase his talents or hindering his talent to a degree would be beneficial in the long run. At least you know for sure that it will not be any of your problems. If number 10 had played against us this year, or plays against this year, I would love for him to play 1 man hockey b/c I would definately have something in store for him. :D

well, I heard the Wild is a very good, strong, and exciting team with many talented players. According to a many they should be a Super? So why are they in reg picking on the little guys. Anyway, it should be exciting with the new structure incorporating some of the Old Rtheq organizations. There may be a sleeper team that may creep up, watch out for them. Good luck to eveyone!

As it turned out, those lasalle lions ended up winning everything. I congratulate you on a terrific season but guess what, you are still not going to convince me that you guys are the real deal. I have been reading, listening, and discussing with parents and just spectators about the lions and there were many concerns. As i read a post on here about a kid on that team didn't play as much, it's really sad to hear that. It really is, but guess what, that's the real world. As my children played on great teams, they too were shafted many times when deep down in my heart I knew their ability to play the game was on par with the better players, but still they did not play. Did it frustrate me, yes indeed. Did it make me mad? Of course who wouldn't be mad when their kids aren't getting as much playing time as the others. People, this is sports. We push our kids to be the best, well, we also have to be prepared to deal with the consequences of not being the best. A parent should not take it personal. I say this b/c I took it personal. But when speaking to other parents as well as coaches, I came to understand that something like this can break a kid or make him. Fortunately, I have kids that want to prove that they belong and benching them will only make them stronger. We as parents have to talk to our kids and explain to them that things aren't always fine, or easy, or should go the way we plan. In no way am I agreeing with the coaches from lasalle if this was indeed done b/c you already how I feel about that team. But, we can dislike them all we want, hell knows i hate lasalle, and given enough time, I will expose the whole organization for their bulls... but to to even mention the article in the gazette is simply stupid and THAT'S CHILDISH. I see lakeshore in the papers all the time, and no one says anything, but lasalle who probably never won anything ever( lol) and be the last time they win (lol) gets in the paper, is dumb. Unless lasalle printed it themselves and had stick in the paper, it should be the reporters who get criticized, and not Lasalle. Wow, I can't believe I just defended these A$%holes. You're right. I don't know what's the fixation of bashing your own team. If you don't like the team you are on for whatever reason, you should have asked for a trade or just quit. the other option would be to speak directly to the coaches and try to find a way so that all can be happy and satisfied. Rover, you gotta be the dumbest thing walking. I made comments about the lasalle team and my opinions are simply my opinions. They keep finding a way to win, but I will not withdraw my earlier posts of that team being a 1 man team. Lasalle lions won. Between number 10 scoring and number 15 playing physical that that was the gamechanger. This is novice hockey and number 15 should learn to stop hitting people. This is not the first time I am hearing this, nor is this the 1st time ithas been brought to my attention.

Blainville is probably one of the best teams out there. According to records, I can not dispute any further that Lasalle may be one of the best teams as well. But I still think an upset is in the making b/c number 10 will indeed be neutalized. There are a lot of rumors circulating that number 10 will have to play the best game of his life in order to win. Those other 2 goals scorers that are spoken about, this is their opportunity to stand apart from number 10. A post had said number 10 =6 and lakeshore 0, the truth hurts doesn't it you lasalle fanatiques. Don't worry about contacting me, b/c I see Lasalle play, and when I am unable to attend, My associate is there in attendance. We see the players in that organization that can play, and we also believe that there are a few that are given way too much praise. I'll say this, we tape almost every game. Why u may ask, let's just say we are part of something bigger and we need to see the players that we may make part of this project. There are definately some players in lasalle ( both teams ) that probably don't get the recognition and that's why we show up to many arenas looking for those type of players. I have been seeing many players like this this year on all teams. It was suggested that i contact carey price for the best 2000 player list. Didn't carey price get involve with a young girl? He should focus more on winning games for his club. How can any idiot have a top ten list. Is it a friends list, canu pay to get on this list, is this list coming fro hockey quebec, or even from certified scouts. please carey price has his own agennda. He doesn't know a thing. I can give you the name of 1 or 2 kids that would totally outclass every kid that carey price or anyone else on this forum has to offer. But, i will not do that,b/c after all they are all young player and they mature at different times. I am happy to see that the talent pool is very deep, and i hope it continues to grow. For all the teams left that are playing, good luck, and maybe some players from lasalle may really step out of the shadows of number 10 before losing On sunday.

well, since stats were now brought into this equation let's see them. After all, you mentioned 150 goals, 70 goals, 43 goals, how many kids did you have to bench and keep off the ice to achieve these stats. The more I read, the more I am fully understanding what you guys are all about.

Now, that is something that I can work with. I asked for another player and I got one. That stat is remarkable for a defensemen. Is he 1st year/second year? If he is 1st year, he will do what number 10 is doing now. So after all Lasalle does have another player on the team that does work. understand 1 thing, I am a fan who believes in team work and not just 1 player. On the soccer field, one player can't go at it alone. And no i am not obsessed with the Lions. the defensmen you speak about, is that the other player withg the ice dragons. I may have a team from toronto, and gloucester that would definately look at a defensemen with stats like that to play super. Any predictions On the game bewteen the lions and the team from pierrefonds. I pick pierrefond 2-lions 1

Interesting facts, thx. I wouldnt mind seeing the younger kids learn or play with b/c it will definately teach the kids how to keep their heads up a lot more. I am speaking about maybe Atom and up. If you take the sport of footbal, these kids are constantly being hit. Is it a goos thing? I don't know, but they grow accustom to it. I know when americans come up here, they have a field day b/c they hit with a purpose. quebec hittters just hit wrecklessly a lot of the times. I am no expert, but I am very knowledgable about the sport and with the pyschology of kids in sports. A little contact is not that bad. In response to some of the threads posted, after all this is a forum and nothing in here is childish. I would think we are all supporters and fans of the sport of hockey. Asking or debating an issue of who has the best team is a topic that will be raised with every so called great team or player that exists. With that being said, I hope I was not misunderstood about my views on lasalle Lions. I had the great opportunity to witness number 10 in action, and to be honest with everyone he is as good as it gets. but the rest of the team, I'm sorry I am not convinced. The ice dragons, aren't they a very strong aaa team? Number 10 plays there thius summer with whom. I did not see anyone remotely close to number 10 on the lasalle team that can keep up with him. Was this player at the Lakeshore game? What number is he? If I can get back to montreal on time for the game, I would like to see it so I can come back here and say i told you so. I actually was lucky to see a few games this year at tournament in Laval and a few other games. Number 10 was who i saw the most and I think it was number 9 who play defense was average. No one on the team is really that strong. Not to say that other teams are not in the same situation, it is b/c all the attention is surrounding lasalle. I understand your points, I really do. Every team has that 1 dominant player, but it just seems to me that number 10 on Lasalle is the whole team. What will happen if number 10 is unable to make it to a game, or is unable to score? Does lasalle have any players that can step up and produce, or take over a game. Will they struggle, or will they need to call some kids up to balance them a bit more. Having that 1 player is great, but to say that they are the best team, I'm not too sure about that. In my view, a good hockey team or nay other sports team no matter the age or level has to have players to support or simply have more than 1 player. 339 goals and 87 goals against is remarkable. Does any know how many goals number 10 scored? And where did the other goals come from. Do they have any players that can play AAA? Good luck to them in the finals. Let's see how many goals number 10 will get and if anyone else on that so-called team ca help him.

The funny thing is I feel that everytime I mention facts about Lasalle, someone has to take it serieux. I am not here to speak negative about Lasalle, like my name says I speak only the truth, and state what other people have said about your team. You psoted a 47-0 record, that's is a great accomplishment in any sport, Congratulations. But I still refuse to give you the ultimate recognition of being that strong b/c again, number 10 does everything. You speak of other goal scorers. Is this true? No one seems to know about any other player on your roster other than number 10. Are they call ups?

Encore numero 10. Is there anybody else who can score? This proves my point. If numero 10 not there, Lasalle lose.

I had a heated discussion about the team from Ville Lasalle, I believe it was the Lions. From what I am seeing, it seems like they did not lose any of their games this season. Can anyone clarify if this is true? And if it is, can a team with 1 player be considered the best team?
