  1. Brick 2015

People just don't get it.....after being at the BRICK with 2 different organizations, trust me if I had a chance to re-do it again, I would hands down chose the Toronto base teams, with their population out weighing us, they still have 2 teams that they need to accommodate and year after year both Pro and TOB are always in the Semis and or Finals...The 2003s and 2004s had the best chance to win the Brick tourney for Montreal, just because of the intense training these kids had.....again IS is a team to, "Enjoy the Experience at the Brick" and not try and win the tourney.....again my son played with the TOB, practicing with them, they teach players to be TEAM PLAYERS not individual players and that was enforced on every tourney on every practice etc....makes for a winning combination..... I hope the 2006s enjoy the experience too.... Tony
  2. Brick 2015

Bulldogs win once again, in the last 5 years the Bulldogs have been in finals for THE BRICK, winning 4 out of 5 times....unbelievable!!!!!
  3. Brick 2015

Mr Bean, Tres bien dit.......I been saying that for 3 yrs....I've learnt my lesson after 1 yr.....the rest is history.... ;-)
  4. Brick 2015

COACH 77.... That this why this organization is not suitable for this tourney....they have no time to spend on our Qc Kids, give it to some organization who's willing take it to the next level!!!!! TOB play all spring long and they start their tryouts in Oct.and finalize there roster by Jan. and their first tourney starts April 30th.....same with PRO HOCKEY! NO WAY THAT TEAM QC CAN COMPETE WITH THAT..... And yes they've lost games by 1 or 2 goals but the team still lost!
  5. Brick 2015

Too Bad for the 05s.....Ice Strom needs to change there ways of development and stop saying it's about," The Experience" and give it to an association who cares about this tournament, because we do have good players in Quebec who want to develop, who should be doing the Toronto Tourneys or Boston tourneys before the big tourney in Edmonton......because the organizers have never the time and they do not want to put in the effort, here is the result of an association that just can make it to Sunday....and I think they'll never make it to Sunday..... I.M.H.O. (in my honest opinion)
  6. A shout out to Daniel Sprong....played Deux Rives and Lac St-Louis.... A good kid who came and helped some of our boys 03s and 04s train. Drafted 46th overall to Pittsburgh Pens.... Congrats to Daniel and his Family.....hoping to see him in the line up in the near future....

  10. THE SHOW ! CANADA vs U.S.A

  18. THE SHOW ! CANADA vs U.S.A

Bonjour a tous, This is a new tournament ready to be born and because the birth year of the 2004s are really GOOD in North America the Primeau Brothers along with all the NHLers are investing in this tourney..... Right now THE LIONS have The Franchise for," THE SHOW" For does who have "pas de moyens"......trust me, we are not the last year tournament....trust me if the player is lights out, we will find a way to get him there....NO EXCUSES! The 2003 and 2004s have a very good crop....if the best 2004s were going to that tourney last year and different coaches, there would be a different outcome! Redemption for those who want play and tryout THE REAL WAY, chosen by real recruiters not just Parents and "wantabe" coaches!!! As for now the budget as not been released! and will be only released to the kids and parents who make this team. And YES we do have a "MAJOR SPONSOR" Tony

  20. EQUIPES LEAAAQ 2003 POUR 2015

  21. EQUIPES LEAAAQ 2003 POUR 2015

Hi Guys, Our CORE team for the last 3-4 years, Stallions Elite 2003 are now the Jr Lions 2003 Elite. There is another 2003 D1 Stallions team....run by a very good coach....If I'm not mistaken, there's 2 players from our Stallions of last year on that team. This team is considered to be a travelling team, but will do 2 tournaments in Quebec. Tony
  22. Toronto Bulldogs edition 2014 Finalist's

Let me start to say what a great experience for my son and his father, the organization was unreal, the Bulldogs organization is the TRUE EXPERIENCE of the Brick..... Family run and similar to The Stallions organization. Every day there was an activity: - Scavenger Hunt on Monday - Breakfast with the Team on Tuesday - Mini Putt with the Team on Wednesday - Bowling nite of Thursday - Friday after last game it was Dinner with the team And yes there was Water parks and Roll coaster rides too! NO PARENTS ONLY COACHES AND PLAYERS.... We all stayed in the same Hotel, and parents stood together as 1 UNIT. This years edition of Bulldogs we had players from everywhere, it was great to see kids come together at the Brick. For my son it was a great run, He had a great time, this team was so diverse that they learnt to play together and rely on each others talent. Everyone on this team brought a little to the table, we didn't rely on 1 player....remember hockey is played with 5 + 1 goalie on the ice. Pro-Hockey was a similar team, After talking to the head coach M.A. they had a game plan going into the final game....they match lines.....where we rolled all our lines, until maybe 1:30 mins left, we killed 21-25 mins of penalties. It was a good game to be part of....Number 44 is the most complete D, I have seen in a while. We had close to 500-600 people watching that game + people on the Live Streaming, that's what this tournament was all about....Players from other teams watching too... After speaking to M.A there was no imports on Pro-hockey and there was no imports that was going to make that team....as for Bulldogs we had 2 imports MTL and Nebraska, 2 from Ottawa , 5 from London, St,Catherine etc... Practices were on weekend for those who could make it, there was no shortage of talent, My son gained valuable experience, even though he started well, he did have a bump in the road. Our journey as ended and no shortage of disappointment from my part, I still think that we were the better team on Sunday, but I'm happy for my Son who was part of something that happens once in life time.... No regrets! my Son enjoyed every moment, it was the best experience up to now. Tony LaStarza
  23. Toronto Bulldogs edition 2014 Finalist's

Hi Guys, First of all Thank you for your nice comments, this journey started in November of last year and just ended July 6th. There was lots of travelling involved, Toronto back and forth every weekend, the factors are enormous, between playing with new players, fatigue of travelling, not sleeping in your own bed for the past 2 months (on weekends) etc....it was difficult to be honest, I was happy to see this journey ending up in the finals of the Brick. I guess I'm considered a "Crazy Hockey Dad", but my intention was to be in a position where my son was taken care of, The Bulldogs family opened up there arms to my son as one of their own. I'm very happy to have met super parents , remember these parents were all new to each other and embraced every kid equally. The team mono is "we play as a unit" and that's what they exactly did, no one was above anyone....every player had there strengths.... It was a most memorable journey that my son and I enjoyed immensely, no matter what the outcome would of been it was well worth the journey, remember there's no price tag on a Father and son bonding Experience ! Yes! TTS ! the goalie Besa if I remember correctly, she is BIG and FAST, They also have a girl D, who will make noise in the near future that's for sure! Tony LaStarza
  24. Naps Buffalo 2014

    Good Job Boots! Tony
  25. Once again the Stallions proved to be the best of the best in the Best Tournament of this year! Congrats to the Stallions group of parents and coaches who this weekend was the Greatest Father's day gift any Dad could of had. Both teams played hard, it was a back and forth game, both goalies were sharp, both teams played with intensity. Congrats to Halifax who kept the game tight, A really good team. To the Meltdown Tournament great to see kids enjoying the RINGS OF CHAMPIONS and THE CAPS OF CHAMPIONS,. Tournament was all class from the Helpers in the orange Polos, to Dave for keeping it real, always enjoying coming to a great tournament with lots of good teams from Out town. it was A fun atmosphere to be in this weekend. Stallions 2004 CHAMPS once again at the Meltdown! Have a great summer 2014 to everyone! Tony
