A total disrespect towards a team that played you for fun and in return you romped them.....no class! and I have never and will never ever post a score with no meaning behind it, especially an exhibition game, it's only to protect yourself after the Brick team won 1 game vs the 2003 D2 , anyways if it makes you sleep better at night, good for you ! I'll make sure Casey K will be aware of your post. I'm sure he'll be really happy!

Hey Mike I'm not negative about anything, I just don't like when you come on here and try to put people down such as a good team like the CCM people, I know Casey K and I'm sure he won't appricate you craping on his team and to say you beat there team 9-0 what does say for your coaching staff after those CCM kids played their hearts out to play in the final! REAL CLASS!

Thanks Mike for the update.....winning 9-0 wow ! CCM played a great game vs the Stallions, it's tough to motivate kids after a tough loss in the semis final game, to play a meaning less game right after, I don't blame the CCM kids for not showing up, AFTER 3 days in hotel rooms , not eating properly and not sleeping in their own beds and losing in the semis ........ but again you knew that....

Alex I respect you too, but Top Ice disrespected a Team that he had no clue about, We've seen and played them, and they are VERY good team. That's how much we respect the competition....as for the teams in QC playing vs Halifax well not my call, it's my opinion and solely my opinion. Have a good summer Bud! Tony

Top Ice! Competition was there, from what I've seen no team from Quebec would of beat Halifax. Except, Stallions! And we were missing some strong players! that's how much depth we have! Let me know the teams that were absent that could of given us competition? 1) ? 2) ?

Hi Ray, Stallions Gold are by far the team that surprised me by far, they had a really good tournament. I watched a few games and very impressed. Sorry Alex and Ben, I disagree, parents are crazy and there will be no loyalty to the teams, look at my Stallions 03 , we have our great group of kids and its great to have SUPER PARENTS as we did this year, because its not always about hockey it's about having a great time on road trips.... just like this weekend at CCHA SHOWCASE, losing to the Bulldogs in the Semis. Great way to end AAA season.....

That's right progression is a big part of Hockey, and the toughest role to play is the Coach, he is the MAJOR catalyst behind the team and if the team doesn't believe in the coaching methods, what do you do?

Mike r you joking me!!!! Get you facts straight Bulldogs lost to Regional Express in the finals. Regional Express is like our Stallions these teams are well COACH and TOP PLAYERS who don't wish to be part of any Brick Team. Both Brick Teams Bulldogs and Pro are strong......They would win a 2003 D2 for sure, just like the Stallions 2004 did going 6-0. Both Toronto Teams would play for sure Sunday Morning in the Finals in the D1 2003 Mike don't want to burst your bubble but that's the truth.....you guys haven't faced any Brick team yet, haven't faced any strong competition, and haven't done one strong tournament yet! Telling us that you tied the Rebels 2004 not very re-assuring, not saying that the Rebels aren't good, just saying that you suppose to have the best of the best......you should of wiped them out! BTW! Regional Express VERY STRONG team, having lost only to the Bulldogs .Pro Hoc lost 2x to this team.

Stallions winning formula? Is training with the best trainers, most people think that because they PLAYED hockey in the past, they can coach or run drills or run a practice but that's BS....I've seen this in past years, and it's a formula for DIASTER....

Yup! I remember that a total disgrace, all the other coaches on the ice with the team while we were lead by NO ONE... We had the pleasure of taking pictures with other head coaches of other teams and staff!!!LOL!

Bengi, 100% AGREE with you my friend where COACHING is the biggest asset you can have on the team.....Watching the Hartnell Show will not help this Montreal Ice Storm team....or practices that have no intensity.....I can go on and on and on and on and on...... Did you guys get that yet? Tony

Stallions 2004 I agree about the people running this program they really need to step down....last year there was no team bonding no team unity and above all no structure, Last year there was 8 Stallions on the team and guess who trained these kids.....it wasn't IS Storm doing all the training or taking an interest in the kids......they practice together for 5 hours 2 tourneys and ship the kids to Edmonton to play teams that know what structure is.....Quebec teams have good talent but its coaching that becomes the major issues....most of our Stallions were well conditioned to play the the grueling 20 mins x 3 periods.....coaching had no clue which kid belonged where and as for our D well we were suppose to have one of the best D there , as for the goalies they did all they can as our D fell apart! Anyways we turn the page to the next chapter and win or lose I know my kid will be treated as a hockey player and not the excuse of being there for the experience . The experience is what you make of it, I don't doubt for a minute that these kids are all talented, but you need a Captin to drive the boat. Every year is the same story.........and again the 2005 will be the same as the other years!!!!!!!! Maybe the coach of royals will change things....

Anonymous, I guess your really pissed! LOL!, I was one of the parents who decided to rent a condo, that's why I didn't spend 13k....I spend 6-7K we bought our food, we cooked instead of eating out every night, better nutrition for the kids etc.... . I was all for team spirit, but your right, The I.S people never interacted with parents and the kids at all! There was never any instructions only done via booklet what to wear on certain days etc.... Top Ice would I do it again? and my answer is NO! not with the Ice Storm organization. Tony

Top Ice YOU NEED to understand I'm not the one who said that, do I agree with that? of course not, but that's not you nor me to answer that question, you need to direct that question to the organizers of the Ice Storm. I'm giving you the Philosophy of the ICE STORM organizers, if your kid doesn't want to go well there's 3 others that are willing to take his place! That's their Philosophy because they know that even if someone complains it doesn't matter they always have kids to replace and have THE AMAZING EXPERIENCE of a 10 year old. Bonjour Carey, I don't understand you sometimes, you say you respect the I.S people and now you say you don't (Tant et aussi longtemps que ce sera les cliques du Ouest Island qui controlera cela ce sera le bordel!?) Please let me know which one is it! Last year's BRICK TEAM shouldn't have any shame and only hold their heads up high, remember these are 9-10 yrs old kids you are talking about, it was a great experience for the Kids. I will not get into the coaching aspect of the team but as you all know or knew this team the 2003 I.S Brick Team on PAPER was suppose to be playing Saturday morning or Sunday morning. I just want people to understand the philosophy of the I.S is plain and simple, "it's the experience for your kid just to be there",....that's what I was told and you know what they are right, they never said we were going there to win!!!!the expectations came from the parents, and yes I was the first one to think that way, " to win". As time heals, I've come to realize that hockey is what you teach your kids in every day life that is you win some and lose some, but sometimes you can't control the outcome of the game, respect for your peers, and above all the love and respect for something you enjoy doing, as a coach and parent, I enjoy working with kids and trying to get the best out of them, because not every kid will re-act the same way, and coaching at this age is 95% playing psychiatrist..... coaches need to adjust, in this case coaches never adjusted. Once again, My son enjoyed his experience with his buddies, and his new found friends he's made from the team. The rest is history!
