Bonjour/Hello, Stallions 2013-14 we be holding our annual tryout for next year. Please let me know by August 3rd, who is interested. Stallions will be doing 4-5 tournaments with 15-20 hours of practice. 3 THAAAQ and 1-2 tournaments out of town. Les Stallions 2013-14 vont faire des tryouts annuels pour l'année prochaine. S'il vous plaît laissez-moi savoir par le 3 août qui est intéressé. Les Stallions 2003 vont faire 4-5 tournois avec 15-20 hres de practique 3 THAAAQ et 1-2 ext. After 4 days of reflection, I will give you my assessment and opinion on the Brick Experience from a parent point of view. First of all I wasn't involved in the procedure of choosing the players, I was a regular parent watching the game, because my son was a 2004. The question is: The Brick Experience is it really Great? My answer is NO! from a parent perspective and as coach, I was very displeased with what transpired behind the bench from the Forwards to Defence! From a coaching perspective, Montreal Ice Storm, had the best talented players on paper, best talent hands down! Where we lack experinence was the coaching and coaching is a big part of the game. Losing 4 games by 1 goal.....where we WON 1 game vs Yankees....and lost 5-0 to a team who was good but wanted it more then us! So for me it's all about coaching! A COACH SHOULD KNOW HIS PLAYERS, AND IN THIS CASE NO ONE KNEW THE KIDS AT ALL! the team had different line-ups all the time NO CHEMISTRY AT ALL! The Record of Montreal Brick Team last 5 years: In the last 5 years ( 2009-2013 ) the Montreal Ice Storm has won a total 7 games out of possible 30 games played! This is soley my opinion.... From a players perspective ! It was great living in a Edmonton eating out with your buddies etc.... Playing vs some of the best players in North America, the NHLERS signing autographs etc.... The indoor Waterpark, the indoor Roller Coaster that was awesome.... The best of all was the closing ceremonies, the kids enjoyed exchanging their jerseys, that was the highlight of the week. Tony

Hi Guys, The Brick experience Wasn't the greatest experience in AAA for me I wasn't impressed with the Montreal Coaching at all!!! I was very impressed with the quality of players that came to tournament from Toronto Bulldogs to Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Boston etc....that's what I was impressed about! Once again kudos to the parents who've sacrificed the 9-10 days in Edmonton and to all the kids who gave their 100 percent in this tourney! Tony

Stallions/Titans have proved once again playing as a team is above more important than individual play!!!! Coaching is OH SO important for the development of these kids! To the Coaching Staff of the Stallions/Titans GREAT JOB! couldn't have done it better myself! My prediction, Stallions for the 2004 brick will have the most representation as the 2003s have right now! And will win the Brick 2014 with the right coach behind the bench!!!!

Hey Mike, I don't want to burst your bubble but from a coaching perspective, your team is not that explosive up front vs teams such like the Stallions Gold or Pro hockey, think about it, in 3 games vs Stallions Gold you've managed only 3 goals (2-2 in TO, 3-0 in St-Hubert and 2-1 in the Finals in St.Hubert) Stallions Gold scored in 3 games 7 goals and those were all forwards scoring....You do have a good skating team don't get me wrong, but when your team as a little bit of a challenge it tends to not function as a team and it starts to play individual, from what I saw. I think the Stallions Gold this year are the Real Deal team by Far! My Personal Opinion!!

Good Morning, The Montreal Ice Storm Brick Team PLAYED this weekend at the Toronto invite here's what happened in a nut shell. 1) Remember this team played it's first game TOGETHER on Friday... 2) Played under a coach who didn't know any kids on the team. 3) The final game was won by the Refs via TORONTO BULLDOGS. - ALMOST 30 MINS IN THE BOX - HOW DO YOU GIVE A 10 MIN MISCODUCT TO A 10 YR OLD - HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN WHEN ONE OF THE REFS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE ACTIONS OF THE OTHER REF TO THE COACHES ON THE BENCH? - TORONTO BULLDOGS WON VIA REFS AND TO TOP ALL OFF THE PARENTS OF THE BULLDOGS CAME UP TO TO ME AND SAID THAT THE MONTREAL ICE STORM GOT ROBBED 4) TORONTO BULLDOGS BEAT PRO HOCKEY....SO TRUE FINAL WAS THE SEMIS! These are solely my opinions.... Watchout Bulldogs, we are NOT that far away! Tony

yes, good luck ! I don't want to be disrespectful, but this is a serious tournament. It would be an achievement for either of the Quebec teams to make it to the final... Max, the odds of both teams making it all the way are very slim... The Stallions, will be missing their stars in the back and up front - I was told they will be playing with the Quebec 03 Brick team. Without their two top guys, I doubt they will be as competitive as they were in previous years ! G-C Who are you? another torontoian, trying to crash here. Dude a team is played with 5 players on the ice last I checked.Stallions will surprise you my friend, super stars or not this team is built back to front! Maybe you should go back on N54! Tony

Hi Guys, Just wanted to give you guys alittle heads up, most of the kids that made the Brick Team were part of Team Quebec 2010-2011-2012 and Stallions Super 2003 including the 2004 forward... Last Year the Stallions played in 2 tourneys in TO, (Pro Hockey) Stallions lost in the finals 5-2 to the Bulldogs Brick Team and Lost at the Ronnie Mac 2-1 in the semi-finals to Detroit's Little Cesar Brick Team, so if that's any indictation of whats to come I personally think The Ice Storm (Brick Team) might have a fighting chance to be very competitive at the Brick Tournament. Our Stallions 2003 SUPER will have another chance at redemption June 7-9 at the Ronnie Mac tournament.... So there you go, if the right system is thought and if the chemistry is right anything is possible, But again we are talking about 9-10 yr olds, who are just enjoying themselves playing the game of Hockey at a higher stage, not knowing there's critics watching them and following them. Not my point, I am happy for the kids. It is a great experience. it is impossible that the 15 best players in Ice Storm territory include 2 underage kids. I am not trying to be insulting, I know that 9 year old kids are not reading this so I am sorry if I am bruising a parents ego. Not Bruising any egos! Just wanted to let you know that we've coach most of these kids and we've played vs the top teams in TO so thats why we know what's the competition is like out there!

Hi Jack RUSS, Sorry to burst your bubble NO COUNTRY here from what I saw , the top teams Representing, Such as Stallions 03 Super (6 players), Cacsacdes (3), Vipers (1) (denis Francouer), I was not evaulating, but from I saw most of kids that were chosen belong on the team! One of the 2004 plays in Atom BB (Surclassed from Novice A) this year and Stallions 2003 Super last year and this year! No horse shit here BUD! Tony
