LEAAAQ Super 2004

Not sure I like the generic feel of the tournament format in the LEAAAQ. I enjoyed the different tournaments last year and their uniqueness. The competition and depth of talent is the #1 reason to play in the LEAAAQ next year.

Again that's your solely your opinion and no one else, in which I respect your opinion.
I will leave you guys on a little note, if any of you have done Toronto tournaments (Ronnie Mac-The Invitational-King of the Rings) ....There's no naming of goals being scored, no singing of the national anthem, no big trophies at the end of the tournament, actually in one tournament that we were runners up we were given a Bauer T-shirt and the Winners were given SHORTS AND T-SHIRT from Bauer, we are very lucky in Quebec where the kids are spoiled.
But Remember 1 thing is that Summer hockey in Toronto is NOT priority winter hockey in the GTHL is the best hockey in North America.

C'est vrai que le Meltdown est un beau tournoi, mais moi être obligé de faire St-Hubert, Laval et Rosemère pour aller au Meltdown, pu capable.....Quant au calibre du Meltdown, si je me trompe pas, ce sont deux équipes du Québec qui étaient en finale l'an passé.
Je crois que dans la LEAAAQ, il y aura une belle parité et NOUS allons choisir les tournois et le nombre de tournoi que NOUS voulons. Pis rien empêche personne de faire des pick-up pour faire d'autres tournois, au Québec ou ailleurs......
Quant au 2004 dans la THAAAQ, je crois que les meilleures équipes devront s'inscrire dans le 2003 pour avoir de la compétition......

Alors, dites-moi une chose, est-il mieux à joue a Drummondville ou Terrabonne ou Rive Sud..Il n'ya aucune différence en jouant dans les autres tournois THAAAAQ si tu joue dans la LEAAAQ c'est qoui la difference!!!! tout le monde à l'extérieur connaît le MELTDOWN ...
Le Meltdown c'est Hockey AAA a Quebec!

OK, would be great to have 10 teams plus a few from out of town for each tourney.
That's where the issue is between the LEAAAQ and THAAAQ the best Hockey is played at THE MELTDOWN! sorry guys the Candy for staying in the THAAAQ is the Meltdown....where you get teams from Toronto from Boston etc....
Guys! in Quebec there is good hockey in Toronto or playing against Toronto teams is UNREAL!
I think the Montreal Meltdown brings the best competition to the table !
This year some of the Brick teams 2004 will be coming to the Meltdown from what I was told!
This is solely my opinion!!!!!

Tony - je voudrais savoir pour entre avril et juin, est-ce que le calibre D1 dans le 2003 ne sera qu'au Meltdown dans la THAAAQ, ou aussi ailleurs? Pourrais-tu indiquer quelles équipes seront avec vous dans le 2003 D1 dans les tournois THAAAQ?

les rockets dans le super 2003 .... c'est la meilleur depuis que tu as annoncé la dissolution de la leaaaq ! ( les seuls info véridiques venant de la thaaaq). Wow tu étais proche.
svp fais tes recherches comme il faut .... les rockets vont jouer dans le d-2 ou d3. Les 2004 de terrebonne sont plus fort que eux lol
Tous les meilleurs joueurs de la rive-nord jouent pour le CHjr (à l'exception de deux stallions ) et les flames de terrebonne veulent nous challenger cette année. ils ont une tres belles équipes mais ne finirons pas dans le premier tiers.
Les rockets soit sérieux carey
les saints. on les a battu 7-2. tres bon jeu collectif mais c'est une équipe d2 forte sans plus avec un top joueur YC.
les gouverneurs ..... ils sont dissouts ils ne peuvent pas se réincarner.
les stallions ..... dit les vrais choses c'est les stallions 2004 et non les 2003. mon fils joue avec un stallions 2003 et je te confirme qu'il jouerons jamais dans la thaaaq 2003. Si tu veux vraiment informé les gens, arrete de mettre des moitiés de mot ou de fait et vérifie avant d,envoyer n'importe quoi et mélanger tout le monde.
J'adore ton approche quand tu parles de compétitivité et plusieurs autres sujets, mais apprend a lire les sujet des post et essaie d'être impartial un peu et ce site s'en portera mieux.
les rockets est bonne celle la ...
IMAX : les Stallions/Titans vont joue dans 2003 Meltdown dans D1, si tu clair la......est puis vont joue a Toronto....

Furthermore, it looks like some of our best players might play on a Toronto team. This is what happens when adults can't get together and put kids and development first.
Gally, people don't understand when you spend 5k-7k and we don't get good coaching behind the bench we have an issue....on paper last year's team was one of best.....but the coaching wasn't to the highest standards.
Anyways life goes and we all learn from our past experiences.....and we learn to move on for the better!

As for the playing up a year, as per THAAAQ RULES YOU NEED TO PLAY D1 2002 (if you play D1 2003) and not D2 2002.....

Just can't call Snita sane from what I saw.
And now you have someone else who I think is great.
You have the best team around and I like you guys, you want more competition so your going D1 2002. If I did to would t talk or even look at you when we see each other.
I did not criticize. I think it's too much and that's an opinion not a criticism
You guys offer what no else does! Toronto style hockey, if I could afford it I probably would.
I'm apologize if I offended you it wasn tmeant to be that way.
PS I asked once and not to jump on your ship, was just so my kid could try something different.

Did you ever hear me talking about HST Gouvs etc.....NEVER! why do you guys have the need to always talk about the Stallions....all we do is develop our kids, did we ever bash any of your teams? we never talked about anyone?
We opened our training to everyone, because we offer something that no one wants to do, and that is to organize a training program.

Ils était dominant en 2003 D1... Ils jouait mal des fois mais leurs talent dépasse les autres et maintenant avec un coach moins folle!
C'est pas un programme de développement ils cherche partout pour les meilleurs est les réunissent. Bon Année à tous dans BB

Some more comments on the 2004's;
1- They have a very strong defensive core. This core has loads of experience playing in high pressure packed games. They have also played together for over 2 yrs, some even playing with body contact together in Boston 3 summers ago. They have good size and skill and just need to sometimes play better positioning and learn to move the puck a touch better. Defense wins Championships and the 2004's are built from the back out!
2- The Goalies are very strong technically and have put in a lot of hard work. They have gone through some tough times but have learned how to deal with the past mistakes. They have really matured in the past year.
3- The forwards on the KOTR team have skills, grit, and most importantly character. They are not all the superstars of their team so some have learned to play specific roles and to pass the puck. I see the forwards as being the biggest area where this team needs to improve as many are still getting used to playing the wing versus center. However, this team is loaded with character players that understand how to step it up when they are down or not playing well. Their biggest strength to me is that they simply win the battles against the boards.... now they just need to understand how to use the D's more in the offensive zone.... and then vice versa the D's need to understand how to get the puck to the forwards to get the best possible chances to put the puck in the net.
Ben you are right..... Our teams The Stallions/Titans 03 and 04s have always been built from back to front starting from the goalies to the Ds and the Forwards who all backcheck.....Scoring a goal in the Brick was all about going to the net and picking up the scarps....no more end to end in the Brick and also starting next year in BB....Dosen't matter who you are or how big you are everyone can skate.....
As for the forwards Ben, I beg to differ on your point, I think adding some key components(PLAYERS) to the team, adding the defense to the attack etc....
The difference on D from the 2003s D vs the 04s Ds they THE 2004s know that how to give that first pass to the wingers, they are calm and collective and thats the best attributies to the 2004s Ds.....The Brick 2003s D had trouble adjusting to the quick speed of the other teams, and the physically of battling in the corners...BTW!.some players did ajust!
The Ds on most of the teams were Moblie and Agilie in which opensed up the game for the forwards.....
Also one of the biggest plays that we were not doing or the coaches weren't mentioning is the DUMP AND CHASE!!! I've seen maybe 3-5 dump chase or even dump change!
Anyways life goes on, I'm so pissed about the 2003 Team Brick, this team was so talented that they DESERVED A BETTER FAITH!!!!
I really thought this team could of gone to the the Final or Semis.... but Coaching was my major dissapointement and it cost these kids the BRICK!

Thank you Carey but to be honest Montreal will never win a Brick tournament, unless management doesn't change it's ways of doing things right......Bulldogs-Pro hoc- they are there to win at any cost, the 04s of Montreal have trained hard for this tournament ....Bravo Stallion et je suis très heureux que tu est pu vivre cela avant tu poura laisser un très gros heritage l'ans prochain et j'espere que tu sera avecl le Quebec et non les Bulldogs ;-) Tu est une chance unique de pouvoir changé les chose pour une fois tu as f=vu tu a compris ce qui se passait vraiment et ce que cela prend vraiment et tu vise en plein dans le mille un happening versus une compétition!
Je suis a 100% deriere toi toi et je veux enfin voir une équipe du Quebec triomphé :!:
Comme tu dis cela aurais pu allez d'un bord comme de l'autre mais quand il y a des ...disont des vices caché cela tourne jamais du bon bord!

But the issues once again are beyond the kids, it's the organization it doesn't understand spending 5k-6k-7k it's not always about the experience! It's about structure, it's about playing as a unit as a FAMILY and that's what the 2013 team didn't have on its side. That's on the coaching and organization to bring them together.....it failed miserably.....I noticed that kids didn't want to play for the the coaches....lack of motivation, lack of intensity from behind the bench etc....
You can be the greatest hockey player in the world or NHL coach....but kids at this age need to feel that they are part of a team, these players didn't fall on there objectives it was the Coaching Staff that let this team down, 100 percent....

Tout le monde peu analyze what happen in the last years etc....But it starts from the top the Montreal team is not made to win and that's the fact , when the mono of the organizers is to enjoy experience and not to play to win, that's where the problem lies, when coaches behind the bench have no clue who are the kids and what there role they play on the team! I was very disappointed with the coaching staff, I had my doubts in the beginning but sure enough......the coaching is where it all starts from....You can't sail a ship without a good capt.you run a business without a good boss, and you can't run a country with a president, same goes for a team!
I thought the 2013 team Montreal Ice Storm kids played 5 games of great hockey where it could gone both ways!
I'm very very disappointed in the coaching staff!
As for 2004s I strongly advise that this doesn't re-occur again!
As a Stallion I was proud of our boys, they performed with intensity and passion as usual....

désolé carey l'as tu es a côté du sujet ( vide ta boite si tu veux en jaser en privé). le brick 2003 est l'équipe qui représente deux équipes AAA qui ont mergé pour l'évenement. C''est correct comme ca et forcé de constater, si les gens concernés sont honnêtes, qu'il y eu quelques lacunes si on en juge par les résultats. Des adultes ont pris des décisions, parfois aux détriments des enfants et pour avantagés d'autres enfants... Well, c'est la vie, c'est comme ca et c'est maintenant du passé. Aux 2004 de ne pas répéter les erreurs des 2003.
D'autre part, tout le monde sait et connait le caractère bouillant de snita. Encore la, porté un jugement sur un flash de 15 seconde sur une personne que tu as vu 5 fois dans ta vie et te basé sur du oui dires pour juger une personne est un peu grossier de ta part. comme tous les entraîneurs, il a ses qualités et ses défauts et c'est a chaque jeune de s'adapter, comprendre et assimiler les directives de leur entraineur. Snita aura su faire progresser beaucoup plus de jeune dans ses trois dernieres années que possiblement la plus part des autres entraineurs. Avoir été coaché par une grande variété d'entraineur est une élément essentiel dans le développement d'un joueur.
Enfin, la langue, arrive en ville ! C'est un cours d'anglais gratis .... jumelé a des lecons de hockey. Ton discours est dépassé. Un coach n'est pas choisi en fonction de sa langue mais bien de ses compétences.

Les droits du Brick au Québec appartiens au Ice Storm et Rick Rusk. Je doute qu'un homme respectueux comme Rick Rusk permettrait un maniaque comme Marcin Snita derrière le banc. Si je ne me trompe pas, Snita etait entraîneur des stallions 2003 D1, cette saison. Mon fils joue sur une équipe 2003 D1 et j'ai été témoin de sa folie. Ce serait un désastre complet si Snita coach au Brick. Quelle honte, un maniaque, unilingues anglophone qui coach une équipe de Québec!

Stallions 2013-14 we be holding our annual tryout for next year.
Please let me know by August 3rd, who is interested.
Stallions will be doing 4-5 tournaments with 15-20 hours of practice.
3 THAAAQ and 1-2 tournaments out of town.
