The Panthers have the top team in the Lions division but will have to face suroit in the LSL finals which has been a tough challenge all year. The Lions division is weak and the Panthers have been dominating all teams. Lakeshores best chance to advance and go far in the provincials in the pee wee level is in BB the Tigers. They don't stand a chance in CC which has been dominated by Lachine and Versant Ouest. All will be settled in the next two weeks, but lets remember teams always elevate there level of play during the playoffs, the regular season is over and the real season begins. Could someone from the Quebec bulldogs team tell me why all the players on the team 2000 ch are wearing bulldog track suits except for one which is wearing a Ice rebels track suit??? Does he not deserve one or is it because he is a rent a player that came in for this tournament to make sure they win there home tournament?? You would have us believe that Menard plays for your team when he really plays with the ice rebels super 2000 team, he is a very good player but don't you know that bringing in players just to win a tournament does not work no team chemistry!!!! Against the Titan ( which the Titan won 6-3) he was on the ice the whole game somebody else that paid $$$$ for his kid to play watches his son sit on the bench while the rent a player gets extra ice. But like the saying goes there is a price to pay for winning even if it costs a 11 year old ice time!!! You should change the team name from bulldogs to win at all expense!!!! By the way the totu rouge does not stand a chance of winning this tournament it will be won by the rockets. The Titan laval nord who has 2 tournament victories already under there belts beat the super jr. lions team ( aka rapid rampage montreal ) at the rockets tournament in the semis 2-1 and tied them during the round robin 2-2!!! So obviously the ateq challenge teams are more then capable to compete with any super aaa thaaq team. So when everybody says all the the best players in quebec play in the thaaq except for 2 better think that over again carey price. The Titan have a very good team and will be the hands on favorite to win there 3rd tournament in quebec city challenge division!!! I will keep you all posted. aaabouef

I understand what all of you are saying 4 games versus 6 games probably equals the same amount of ice but if you take the weaker kids that are on a full roster team they will not see the ice when the game is on the line when you have 10 skaters you have no choice everyone will see the ice powerplay, penalty kill, last minute of the game etc..... lets remember the are not many teams like the Ice Dragons or the old Ice rebels that have a team that is stacked with great players most teams have 2 good lines and the others are borderline AAA. So what the lions have done is taken the 10 best and said this is it you are going to play all game 4 games or 6 games. This is my opinion if you pay $600.00 - $800.00 your kid better play alot!!!! It seems that all of you are happy with what your team does and I wish you all the best. aaabouef

Que se passe t-il avec les Lions. Ils sont rendus avec 3 équipes une super et 2 régulière. Comment on t-ils vendus aux parents le contacts a 10 joueurs? Eric 25, you have to think what there doing (the Lions) your sonS team and most other teams play 9 forward and 6 defense which means your son is on the ice every third shift not lots of ice time with the lions on every second shift double the ice time!! Who will develope more the kid that sits on the bench or the kid that is on every second shift? How about practices if your kid is a forward he goes through drills 1 out of every 9 or with the lions 1 out of every 6 which do you think is better ? Don't forget most AAA associations moto is development but when you think about it it`s all about $$$ and winning while your kid and other kids sit on the bench these kids that play on the lions are actually on the ice skating and learning last time i checked hockey is learned and played on the ice not on the bench!!! Also don`t forget the lions organisation represented Quebec at the Telus cup Midget AAA championship they must know something about developing hockey players and hockey talent. So Eric 25 you want your son to win now and sit on the bench or develope later in life as a hockey player from what i could tell there are no 10 year old kids that are in the NHL now. On my end I would buy what the lions are selling to the parents. DEVELOPMENT!!!!

RRM= super jr.lions in the thaaq!! Lakeshore took the top players from both the lions and panthers Atom BB teams this year and made 1 AAA team entered in the thaaq as the jr.lions and in the ateq as the RRM. RRM which btw is run by Orsini Lakeshores technical developer. This is a great thing for the ateq. We will now see that ateq challenge teams are as good or better then thaaq super teams. Proof was last night they only tied with the rockets ouest, earlier today they beat a weak Ottawa 67's team, tonight they play Titan Laval Nord which will also be a test to see which division is stronger Ateq or the Thaaq. Lac St.Louis champions Lasalle Boas 4-1 they will represent at the Dodge Cup. Congratulations to Lasalle a very well played game by both teams. Also great job by the refs they put the whistle away and let the kids play. All you guys have is a corrupt association where winning comes first from pre-novice to midget. Escobar thinks that a coach from a opposing team that comes over to congratulate the losing team on how they improved from the beggining of the season till the end what did he say "Speaking about class, perfoming poetry after the game does not represent class" he must be really special this escobar. My hat goes of to the coach from lakeshore he put his teams victory aside to come and talk to 9-10-11 year olds to congratulate them. There you go in a nutshell.
