I wonder if we are going to see this in the WIG... #wiretowire

Pour vraiment apprécier leur qualité de jeu, il faut vraiment les voir sur la glace. You guys 00S were pretty close twice this year. The Wild 01S (2010) were just as good. The 03S Stallions are still trying to grind them down. I would like to discuss the tournament format. There were 12 teams entered, two pools of 6 teams each. The top four in each pool made the quarter finals. Therefore, 8 of 12 teams made the playoffs on Sunday. It is great for the organizers, great for the hotels, great for 67% of the teams, great for the economy. For the team entry fees paid, you get your bang for the buck. http://www.cchasports.com/uploadfiles/*nass%202000%20elite.pdf However, most tournaments allow only four teams to advance (33% of the teams). Two pools of six teams, only four advance. That is, the traditional top two in each pool to cross over in the semi-final game. i.e. 2012 Montreal Meltdown 01S http://www.montrealmetroaaa.com/documents/weekend2_104.xls At 2012 Toronto Challenge Cup 04: http://torontochallengecup.pointstreaksites.com/view/torontochallengecup/2012-schedule-3 11 teams entered, top 3 in each pool advance (54%). 1 and 2 receive bye to Semi finals, 3 through 6 play in the Quarters. There is no standard, but it is appreciated that the tournament gives the teams an opportunity to have more games. Some teams may have a bad start and/or a poor draw in the schedule. The CCHA is not a pure round robin. Therefore a club with record of 1W-2L-1T (Wolfpack) can sneak into the big dance. Would you pay extra for this format always? Would you have accepted that only the top two in each pool advance? Probably not for the distance you have to travel for that tournament.

This is how they do it, 2013 Bruins style (one year in advance)... http://www.bostonjuniorbruins.com/content/brick-training-eval-camp/ Brick Training & Evaluation Camp $295 *2003′s, who participate in the Brick T&E Camp, earn a reduced cost for Brick team tryouts. Instead of the normal $125 fee the tryout fee will be $75. Even when he is not here, he is here. After I get my bracelet, I am handed a schedule and a brochure with his picture on the cover! Bon, he is entitled to his predictions, but some gave their predictions before all of Friday's games. In all fairness, he is predicting that S/TG will have a difficult time in their fourth round robin game vs. NH Knights. Ice Storm will advance (beat Renegades), Can Jr Rouge will advance (beat PH Dev) and CT Colts still need a berth via wins or tie-breaker. No problem with those prognostics. But the Stallions may still play on Sunday. I predict that there will not be a merger between Stallions/Titans Black and Canadiens Jr. any time soon. They would have looked something like this: http://twitpic.com/show/iphone/8wc6nw

Correct, the answer is no, but nobody cares. Spring 2011: a 2000 THAAAQ player played for two different THAAAQ (orgs) teams. Also a 1998 THAAAQ player played for two diffferent THAAAQ (orgs) teams. Okay, regardless that their first respective teams had completed their season. The truth is that there is nobody to audit the players and cross reference the gamesheets with previous teams that they have played for. Aussi encore en 2011: un 2001S THAAAQ (org A) a joué pour une équipe 2000 THAAAQ (org B). En tournoi et non une match hors-concours. Et oublie le règlement de 15 joueurs minimum, c'est seulement une sugestion. Since I believe in the philosophy of any lineup for any tournament, it doesn't bother me when the kids are on the ice. But in the hallways, the parents/coaches know the rules.

Voici une méthode pour encourager les alignements: Coaches Passes will NOT be available at the arenas once the tournament has commenced and will only be issued in advance of the tournament once the required form, roster & hotel information is submitted.
