THAAAQ 2004 D1 looks very weak. Why not play in the LEAAAQ dj?

I could see a scenario where there will not be enough teams to form a D1 tournament. You need at least 5 and even then will teams be strong enough and will it test the boys? The LEAAAQ at the 04 looks way deeper and stronger. That is where the Rebels should play.

Why? because Maybe the Meltdown!  and have a chance to play against top AAA teams from Can /USA!

Playing in weaker tournaments just to play the meltdown makes very little sense. Furthermore, will strong out of town teams even come for the meltdown knowing stallions, metro, etc will not be there?

The Meltdown was a nice tournament with teams from Canada ans USA. But that doesn't mean better hockey ! The two finalist in the 2004 D1 last year are now in the LEAAAQ.

Kids should not play in a weaker league all Spring just to play the meltdown. I no longer want my kid playing in the THAAAQ. The LEAAAQ 04 Super looks deep and very competitive which is what we want for our kids development.

So it looks like there is 10 teams in 04 Super, that's excellent! In the THAAAQ they'll be lucky to get 3-4.
