First I'd like to give congratulations to the Cascades 2003D1 pour leur victoires 6-1 en finale contre les Stallions Elite 2004.

 

I'd like to also congratulate the Stallions Elite 2004 who played the entire tourney with 6 forwards & 4.5 defenseman (one had a badly sprained ankle). This team totally exceeded anyones expectations including our own as we knew we didn't have our full team & winning 1 game would have been a feat in itself. I'm not sure if all the top 2003D1 team were present at this tourney but I'd love to know which other strong 2003D1 team were missing.

 

Despite the results, we are very aware that many of the top 2003 players have been playing in the 2002D1 (namely our own Stalllions Elite 2003) and we will try to not let these results go to our kids or parents heads.
