I understand and respect your point but please do not make a negative out of a positive gesture. Remember that this is minor league hockey and we are talking about 9 to 11 year old kids. Why I chose to point out this gesture was to point out an example of sportsmanship. The Tigers coach asked the Versant Ouest coaching staff before entering the room if he could say a few words to which we absolutely agreed to. Understand that we played against them 6 times this year and he simply wanted to acknowledge the improvement in our players from our 1st game against them which we lost 9-2. Let me tell you that our kids really appreciated to hear it and so did the coaches!

I would like to congratulate the LakeShore Tiger for their win against the Versant Ouest Tornades to advance to the LSL finals. You played a great team game and are very well coached. To the coaches and players of the Tornades, we had a great playoff run. Just goes to show you anything can happen in the playoffs! On a personnel note, I would like to thank the Tigers coaching staff for their kind words that were told to use at center ice after the game. Also to the head coach of the Tigers who took the time to come and say some very kind words to our kids after the game. It was a true example of sportsmanship for our kids. It is nice to see some people still think of the kids first. Good luck in your finals! Andre

Congrats to the Glads! Well played game, you came to play! Hopefully we can get our game back up to where it should be for the next 3 games and play you again and give you a little more competition!

Captain Canada, I don't agree with you! The Wolverines will not have it easy as it should be! GOH has a good team. They had very close games in the Super Defi against some very good super AAA teams. Oakville lost in the finals (in the regular) of the Ronald Mcdonald. The Knights lost last year in O.T against the Wild in the Meltdown. You can expect to have some very good games in both pools! We look forwards to and welcome the challenge of playing all these good teams.
