Congratulations to the Ice Rebels for winning the final fairly easily vs the Ice Dragons 5-2. After the St-Hubert Tourney, by rankings of the best 4 teams are; 1- Ice Rebels (great skating team). 2- Ice Dragons (a few great scorers and they play a good passing game). 3- Stallions/Titan Gold (gave the Ice Rebels a great game in the semi-finals losing 1-0 despite missing 3 breakaways & hitting 1 post. They were also playing the entire tourney without one of their top players who broke his wrist. Their goalie is by far the best one I've seen out there). 4- Nordiques AAA (a couple of great skaters and a team to watch out for!) Congratulations to all the teams that made it to Sunday.

After the first day of competition; Stallions/Titan Gold: 3 vs Metro Canadiens: 0 Stallions/Titan Black: 2 vs Gouverneurs: 5 Two very good games! Congrats to both winning teams and good luck to all of them for the rest of the tourney.

Pour étteindre toute les rumeurs, notre top défenseur n'était pas présent du tout car il jouait avec l'équipe Brick 2003 et notre meilleur attaquant qui jouait aussi pour l'équipe Brick 2003 a jouer dans 1 match seulement a la défense pour nous dépanner car on avait un de nos top défenseur qui étais malade (contre les MM CH). Stp a noter que dans cette match, il venait tout juste de jouer son 2ieme match de la journée 1 heure au paravant et malgré ca il a tres bien performer en marquant le premier but du match. J'ai bien hate au rematch le 9 mai vs les MM CH au tournoi de St-Hubert ou on devrait avoir toute notre équipe présent! Bonne chance a toute les équipes.

Félicitation au Canadiens de Montreal Metro pour se rendre en finale a Toronto cette fin de semaine! Both Quebec teams showed again this weekend that they are right there with the very best of the 2004 class. Considering that it's only been 3 weeks of playing together for our teams the Quebec Brick team for the 2004's looks very promising for next year much like the 2003's do this year who lost 4-3 in the semi-finals to the Toronto Bulldogs. Keep it up everyone and continue competing hard!!!

Bonne chance a toute les equipes AAA 2006/Good luck to all the AAA teams!! Who are the top teams in the 2006's in your opinion? Here's my ranking based on early exhibition games I know of; 1- Ice Dragons. 2- Titan Gold. 3- Gouverneurs. 4- Titan Black. 5- NRJ. Please nobody take this personally as I haven't seen any other teams in the THAAAQ. Rankings are just for fun at this age and will mean absolutely nothing by seasons end!!

Stallions/Titan Gold D1 2004 on jouer les Stallions D1 2003 il y a 2 semaines et les 2003 on gagner 4-0. Par conte les 2003 manquait 3 tres bon joueur (1 défenseur et 2 avant) et les 2004 manquait 4 tres bon joueurs aussi (2 défenseur et 2 avants). C'étais un match dominé par les 2003 mais c'étais une tres belle expérience pour les 2004 pour les aidée a préparer pour leurs saison!!!

After seeing a few more teams, here is my current rankings (again it's my opinion, which I've been known to be wrong very often!); 1- Gouverneurs Ice Rebels 2- Ice Dragons 3- Stallions Gold 4- Gouverneurs Selects 5- NRJ The top 3 teams in my opinion can beat anyone as they are a close 1-2-3. Good luck to everyone this year!!

Congrats Mike on a very positive showing. One thing that the 2004's cannot erase vs the 2003's is physical strength and endurance. 1 year is still 1 year but none the less a very respectable result!

Congratulations to the Flames (former Lightning of the THAAAQ). They are are good team that should of stayed in the THAAAQ and played D1 because I believe they are good enough. I know a few of their players and they did progress over the winter. Too bad there are 2 ligues insteaf of only 1!!! A combination of these 2 teams would make an excellent D1 team (making them easily a top 3-4 team in the D1). Maybe next year! :lol:

Les Titan Gold vont joué les Ice Rebels vendredi soir (manquant 1 bon joueur). J'ai hate de voir les Ice Rebels jouer. Aussi, les Titans Gold on égalé les CH Jr Red 2-2 dimanche passé (avec 3 joueurs manquantes) alors ils vont dans la bonne direction apres seulement 2 pratiques ensembles car il avait perdue 7-1 dans leurs premieres matches ensembles vers la fin mars. Je croix que ca va etre la lutte entre 3 équipes dans le THAAAQ, Les Ice Rebels, Les Ice Dragons, et les Titan Gold. Reste a voir car si on combinait les Titan Gold & Titan Black, les Super Titan serait une méchante machine!!! Bonne saison AAA a tous!

It wasn't that good of a game besides the first 10 minutes where it was obvious that the Stallions/Titan Black hadn't had a lot of practice time together. After the first period was done, the Stallions/Titan Black actually took over with their skating & passing. They missed several great chances as well while the Jr CH Red couldn't muster up any shots to test the goalie because they simply couldn't keep up skating wise. The score could have easily been 6-1 or 6-2.

Final score 4-1 for Stallions/Titan Black. Please note that they were playing without their best offensive forward and best defensemen, however there was a replacement defenseman that filled in from the Stallions/Titan Gold team.

Unforetunately our Black team will be missing their best offensive player & their best defenseman for this game so I'm not sure how good of a bar it'll be. However let's see how both teams do. Bonne chance au 2 équipes.

True to my promise that I wouldn't talk AAA hockey on this Blog until April 1st..... but it's now April 2nd officially so let's get the real season going with some early predictions of the 2004 D1 Rankings; 1- Stallions/Titan Gold (yes Mike I put us ahead of your offensive powerhouse :D ) 2- MM CH 3- Gouverneurs 4- Stallions/Titan Black 5- Ice Storm 6- Espoirs de Quebec 7- Bulldogs de Quebec 8- NRJ (not an official D1 team but they are playing a couple of D1 tourneys) Good luck to all the teams in the D1 et bonne saison AAA a tous!!

Pour les équipe du Quebec je ne suis pas convaincu car dans le novice ils jousent seulement a 10 joueurs et plus que la moitier de ces bonnes équipes sont la meme équipe AAA (plus ou moins) et ils ont déja de la misere a gagné dans le novice versus les bonnes équipes de Montreal (qui sont tres watered down comme qu'on dit en anglais). I hope I'm wrong but we will see I guess. As for reversing my 1 & 2, I'll let the kids decide who is the best team on the ice :lol: NRJ vont jouer le tournois D1 de Québec et le D1 du Meltdown. Je dirais que NRJ ont une des meilleurs gardienne dans le 2004 si non le meilleur!!! Reste a voir.

First off I'd like to congratulate the two 2004 original Stallions/Titan for making the very prestigious Brick Team 2003 one year ahead of their Brick year. The Stallions/Titan organization is extremely proud of them and it shows exactly what our program is all about..... development. That being said, we are still very confident in our current roster that they will continue to step up their games despite not having these two players 100% committed to our 2004 stallions/Titan Gold team much like they did last year when faced with similar circumstances. We believe that 1 player (or in this case 2 players) do not make the team..... the team makes the team. Bonne Chance a l'equipe Brick 2003!!! Bengi

My prediction is Voisins de Laval-Est will win the tourney. They are a very good team with a very respectable defense and the best 2004 goalie in my opinion. They also have a few good offensive players. They will be very hard to score on. Bonne chance a tous and remember that the hockey is played on the ice and not on Classement Poc!!! :lol:

Felicitations au Remparts de Laval-Nord pour leur victoire au tournois de Shawinigan-Sud. They defeated the Lachenaie Cavaliers in a very closely contested 2-0 game. Congratulations to both teams. Laval-Nord Remparts did not give up a single goal in the tourney and it was their 3rd straight tournament win. They have now won the Delta, Pointo, & Shawinigan-Sud tourneys! Congratulations to all the teams that competed hard.

Dans la ligue de Laval, the teams that will likely finish 1, 2,3 & 4 are; 1- Laval-Est Voisins 2- Laval-Nord Predateurs 3- Laval-Nord Remparts 4- Laval-Est Titans Over the last week the Voisins beat both Laval-Nord teams 2-0. They are definitely the team to beat at the moment in Laval. Hats off to them!!!
