  1. Qui seront les équipes D1 2006

I know that there was 1 decent D1 capable team in the LEAAAQ namely the CH Jr. Too bad they are staying in the LEAAAQ as I felt they were worthy D1 potential in the THAAAQ. The Jr Lions also had potential but are more of a D2 team in the THAAAQ than a D1 in my opinion but they will surely get better.
The Stallions/Titan want to bring a 2006 team to Toronto to represent Quebec at the famous King of the Rings (KOTR) tournament the weekend of Aug 16-18. If you are interested please send me an email at bvidicek@yahoo.com

    J'imagine c'est Laval-Nord : )

Moi aussi..... moi et bcp d'autre encourage Mr Rusk de faire bcp de chose different mais ca ne bouge pas vite... I think Mr Rusk is too busy watching the train go by and doesn't realize that he needs to change his formula or his philosophy. My personal opinion is that the best 2004's will not even attend his Brick tryouts this year unforetunately because the 2004's are simply very competitive and don't want to go to Edmonton with an ordinary team.
  5. Joueurs elites au Quebec

Again your opinion.... and I respect any competition especially in the 2006's because it was great competition and I am extremely proud to say that our Gold team finished 3rd. Further, I am very sad to see the Metro CH leaving the THAAAQ because we had some very good games together. Competition makes everyone better.
  6. Joueurs elites au Quebec

No 2004 Gold D1 parent have told me officially that they are not coming back. There are some that are awaiting some kind of proposal from me on what our team is doing next year and I've advised them that we would know a bit more in September. I also know that there are at least 2 or 3 individuals trying to form teams and they have been heavily recruiting our players (both on the Gold & Black teams). Everyone in our organization have the right to speak to anyone and change teams (as long as they follow all the THAAAQ rules of course) if they think the grass is greener on another team. This is AAA hockey everyone and nobody owns anyone.... there are no contracts here. Have you ever thought that maybe what people are telling you is false info? You shouldn't always believe everything you hear.

Awesome Doc-Hockey... if you want to see me play hockey come by every Friday night at Centre Rousseau (and you tell me to get my facts straight before giving an opinion).... and now you want to tell me how to formulate my opinions and what kind of opinions to make. Last I checked I was the one being attacked here so why should I respond at all to your bashing of myself or the Stallions/titan organization. Besides, you still haven't signed your post and showed your true colors or even answered my questions. If you want to bash me feel free, but at least have the courage of doing it to my face by signing your post. That being said, I refuse to respond to any of your posts unless you sign your post. If you think there are great players playing in the 2004's in the LEAAAQ then please let everyone know who you think they are. I myself agree that there are plenty of great individual players everywhere, but from my experience the best 2004 teams played in the THAAAQ last year and the scores in exhibition games vs both leagues proved that. I personally don't care very much about either league as I wished that there was only 1 league where everyone played so we could all stop this debating of which league is better. As for Laval-Nord you are correct that they finished near the bottom of their league last year but they managed to win when it counts during the playoffs. I never mentioned that they were a powerhouse last year but I did mention that they made it to the Dodge Cup which is great for a team that didn't finish at the top of the standings.
  8. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

You would have more credibility if you signed your post : ) Until then you guys are just Stallions/Titan haters. Bonne soirée à vous! I wish you the best 2013-2014 hockey season. Bengi
  9. Meilleur BB 2013

My early season favourites is Pierrefonds as they also have 3 solid 2004's that would make any other BB team but will need to work hard to make this team as they are also going from 2 BB teams last year to only 1 this year. On my end Laval-Nord who made it to the Dodge Cup last year have 4 returning players of which 2 were their better players. They are also adding 4 very strong 2004 D1 players. They are also very strong in my opinion at all the key positions so I guess time will tell. I myself am just happy to see my son is finally out of Novice : )
  10. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

You sound like someone very bitter against the Stallions/Titan. Maybe you should show your true colors and sign your post with your real name so we can all know who you really are. I could only imagine that your child was probably cut from one of our teams because you thought he was better than he really was and you're having a hard time digesting that there are better children out there than yours. Further, I'm sure it looks even better to post the reason why your son didn't make that team because of a glove being 1 size too big. I'd like you to go out and investigate the smallest available size of the M11-Pro. If you do that you will be very surprised to find out that the smallest size is in fact the adult XS with an XS cage. Further, I'd like to know where you were when we were had samples of every size to see what size helmet was right for your child. I'm guessing that all this wouldn't matter anyhow because you're simply a very bitter human being and you simply don't appreciate anything. I hope your next hockey experience leaves you a better taste in your mouth to not go on a public site to bash a great hockey program for our children.
  11. Joueurs elites au Quebec

Wow.... Bravo Doc-Hockey. At least I can sign my post and everyone knows who I am. I'm entitled to my opinion juste comme toi tu as le droit au tiens. However, at least mine are a little more well thought out and educated. Honestly, you might be right that I know nothing about hockey, but proof is in the pudding my friend so I must be doing something right. That being said, if you know who the best teams in each of those age levels are why don't you name them. Then I will let the others comment on your response for me. Finally, what goes on with our teams is our business and people have the right to go play with whoever they want if they aren't happy, that's the nature of AAA hockey. The last I checked, 95% of our players want to come back so I'm not quite sure what "merde" you are talking about.
  12. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

Optimousse Prime, if you would have read the email properly, there is a maximum of 12-14 kids on the ice and the cost for that specific session is $850.... which comes out to $31 per session. If you have ever gone to Anna's 90 minute sessions you would have noticed over 14 kids on the ice and multiple different age levels (from Atom to Mahg). Again, there is always a cost for quality training but it depends on what you believe in. On another note, you are correct about anyone being able to hire these trainers with the exception of Marcin Snita who is exclusive to our Stallions program.
  13. Joueurs elites au Quebec

Mike, I'm sure it's vision will be well thought out but honestly it's tough to respect & credibility to a ligue that has changed names in 5 of the last 6 years. Further, I cannot consider the LEAAAQ an Elite league if all the Elite players play in the THAAAQ. I think it's only hope is to build from the bottom up, starting with the 2007's & 2008's. The reality is that the perception of the LEAAAQ2.0 is one of a 2nd class league and usually perception is reality. In my opinion it will take years to make this league credible but I wish you guys the best of luck.
  14. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

summer hockey 2006 & JDLESS, I respect your opinion about training (because I'm sure you are an expert) but I'd like to enlighten you just a little on the subject of training on the small ice. Why have the European born players playing in the NHL today increased since the mid 1990's consistantly year after? The reason, believe it or not is skill development. They have actually surpassed Canada in skill development and if you think it's because they only train on the big ice you are totally wrong. They are the ones that were the first to train on the small ice rinks. The reason is because you need skills such as quick hands, stick handling in tight areas, quick turns and pivots, quicker decision making on your passes, having your head up, etc. These are the real skills of hockey and they are better developped on the small ice. I am not saying to only train on a small ice because players need the best of both worlds for sure. That being said, our 2003's & 2004's have been training on the small ice for the last 3-4 years and the results speak for themselves. As for developping from within, the core of 9 players from our 2004 team have been training together for over 2 years and we will again add another 2 players to this core that were developped from within. Further, we have lost players internally as some have moved up to play a year up in the 2003's (namely 2 players that represented the 2003 Brick team this past July). Ì'd like to add that there are many of the top players in the 2004's that have also been training with our group for over 2 years and they have developped as well despite not playing with any of our teams because our training sessions are open to everyone not just our own players. Remember that AAA is a choice and players are free to play with whichever team they want and we respect that 100%. As for the cost of $1000, if you break it down per hour of ice it comes down to just under $25 per hour for 27 sessions (each session being 1.5 hrs) which is actually cheaper than most other sessions that charge around $30+ for what they perceive to be the same training but in fact it's worse because their trainers aren't as good or not as credible. Remember that everyone is entitled to their opinion, I highly recommend making your own.
  15. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

Summer Hockey 2006, To not disrespect anyone here there were actually nobody on defense that was ''protected'' as you say. The reality was that there was no defenseman that were cut because there were only 4 defenseman at the tryout camp. My own son was the ''weakest'' and I would have had no problems cutting him from the team if there were better defenseman at the tryouts in July. That being said, yes there was better defenseman out there for sure but they didn't want to try out unforetunately. Further, on the Sunday with our best defenseman not available, that same defense was good enough to win a game so it couldn't have been that horrible. If you are going to make a comment like that I suggest you get your facts straight first or at the very least you sign your post so we know exactly who you are. Personally I find those comments very disrespectful because sometimes bad defense is the result of other things like no back checking or weak goaltending. Your comments can be interpreted in many different ways depending on your point of view.
  16. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

Dick Irving, there you go again living in the past with your 26 wins & 1 OT defeat..... once again congratulations and I wish you and your team of the Ice Rebels the brightest success in the future. I'm not writing on this blog to fight with anyone or put down any other program. If you don't know that about me then please go ask a few of the 2004's. Bonne chance mon ami and I'll see you surely in an arena eventually. Bengi
  17. LEAAAQ 2.0 .... C'EST PARTIE :)

Good luck Mike with your choice. I hope it works out for you and your team. Good post on your transparency but I don't agree with all your opinions but that's ok because we can agree to disagree : )
  18. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

The problem with trying to create a Team QC in this province is that everyone is always looking out for their own little programs and they are afraid to lose players to other programs. So what happens is that these little programs tell their parents not to go participate with that program or this program because they don't want them to see if the grass is in fact greener on the other side. My philosophy is very simple.... I don't hold any kids or their parents back to go play with other programs because it's a free country and I know that my program is good and it works. I'm definitely not saying that there are not other good programs out there because there are for sure, but my point is that I'm not afraid to lose a player because I know my program will develop new ones. However I would never deny any of my players to play with other teams and meeting new people and making new friends because that is what sports is all about... friendships and competition.
  19. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

Mr. Dick Irving, Like Mr. Duteau mentioned above, who are YOU to tell others what should or shouldn't be said on the site. It's a public site meant for people to give out their opinions as long as they are respectful. I personally hope your team goes out to face the tough competition out in Toronto and beyond and even further I wish you guys all the success in the world and I hope you guys come home with the Championship. That being said, stop living in the past with your 2000's and how good they were and how you won that & won this. Minor hockey has changed immensely since your 2000's were in Mahg so my advice to you is to stop living in your own little bubble because this is not about the Ice Rebels, Ice Dragons, or even the Stallions for that matter. Take my comments for what they are and if you disagree with them fine as you as well are entitled to your opinion..... but please don't tell me to not share mine!!
  20. LEAAAQ 2.0 .... C'EST PARTIE :)

I don't want to talk for Mike and his reasons for leaving, but I would have to say he probably left for various reasons such as; -Some of his players decided to leave him this year for other AAA teams. -The only other competition in the 2004 D1 was the Stallions Gold. -The LEAAAQ 2.0 will let him play in the 2003 division and let him pick up some 2003's to complete his roster. -The LEAAAQ 2.0 probably made his some financial promises. -The AAA season is only about 2.5 months long and not really worth the headaches. -His will be starting up another team for his younger children. I'm sure I missed a few others but I think I got the bulk of them.
  21. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

Daniel, my statements were in no way meant to disrespect the Ice Rebels or Ice Dragons but more a statement to let everyone know how strong the team really was. I used the Ice Rebels and Ice Dragons as an example as they were the top 2 teams in the THAAAQ this year and to compare the talent level in Toronto as being far superior. We were humbled by the KOTR experience and more importantly the competition level. Finally I would like to add that I don't have to justify our performance to you or anyone else. In fact I didn't have to come out and say that we won 1 game and lost 4. I'm actually proud of the kids that had the courage to actually come out and compete versus the very best. It shows a lot about ones character when you aren't afraid to compete!
  22. Stallions/Titan 2006 & Équipe pour représenter le Québec

I would just like to thank all the parents and kids that made the commitment to represent Quebec at this past weekends KOTR2. It was an eye openning experience for everyone at how good the competition is in the 2006 age group in Toronto. Our team went 1-4 and despite the first 2 games being very tight, we unforetunately came out on the short end. The final two games of the round robin on saturday we were handed a hockey lesson. However we finished the tourney strong winning our game on Sunday and the kids were very happy. I will go on the record that this team that represented Quebec would easily defeat the Ice Rebels or Ice Dragons without much of a sweat. That statement is not to put down the Ice Rebels or Ice Dragons but more a statement of how strong our team really was and more importantly at how strong the competition was in Toronto. That being said, we have a lot of work to do if we want to be able to compete with the very best talent in Toronto. Thanks again, Bengi
  23. Kings of the Ring pour Brick 2004!

In reality the final was played in the semi's as the team that beat us won the finals 5-1 despite being tired from playing us in OT and the other finalist having played a much easier game in the other semi's winning 6-1. From the few comments I received, our team was the talk of the tourney on how well we passed the puck and skated. Overall an incredible amount of talent that was present at the 2004 level. Very impressive and humbling!
  24. Kings of the Ring pour Brick 2004!

Correction to Carey Price..... the Stallions lost 4-3 in a shootout after playing a 5 minute 3 on 3 overtime period. In my opinion we let this game slip away. We had a 2-0 lead but like Carey said, Tri-City capitalized on our mistakes. We gave up 3 consecutive goals but showed sort heart and determination by coming back to tie the game. I felt like our kids didn't play their best game, but we need to give credit to the other team that had an incredible goalie who stoned us on many occations. That being said, this team definitely need to tweek a few things, but we proved to everyone that we are right there with the best.
