Congratulations Lasalle Verdun Pythons

Best of luck to Pythons from Lasalle / Verdun in "la coupe dodge" they won the Lac St louis Patriot division tonight in Verdun by a score of 3 - 1 over the Suroit team.

 

Here are a few comments / observations on the game tonight.

 

The pythons are fortunate to have a very dominant player on their team, the type of player that controls a game. Was it necessary for him to play roughly 22 - 23 minutes in a 30 minute game tonight?

 

With roughly a minute left the Suroit team had 2 players in the penalty box thus short handed 5 on 3 ..... the outcome was basicaly already decided ... yet again the dominant player is on the ice while others are still bolted to the bench.....

 

Win at all costs it seems .... for those who are wondering ... Suroit rolled it's 3 lines and 6 d-men .... perhaps it was only because it was the Final game you may ask ?????

 

No .. we have had the pleasure of facing this team 4 or 5 times this year .... and this is how the bench runs the show on a consistant basis.

 

There are other very good players on the Pythons ....... How ever there are perhaps 3 or 4 marginal BB players which apart from the celebration at the end barely saw the ice ......

 

I guess the main thing is the coach or coaches got their victory ......

 

These comments are not meant to disrespect any of the players or the parents of the players ...... after all the players are only following the lead of the coach.
