at the Brick all the ex NHLers go with their sons ! In every big tournaments like the International peewee tournament we see ex NHL players with their kids... Hockey starts in september and finishes in june now. Gymnastics, swimming and diving, soccer practice and compete all year long... Some old folks still live in the 80's ... Not everyone drives a Hyundai ! Even though a car is just a way to get from point A to point B some drive a Honda and the ones with more money drive a BMW and the richer ones own a Ferrari, a Land Rover and a pick up for fun ! Everybody has their fit. It's the same in hockey or other sports.

In D1 it's better to play a tournament with only 4 or 5 strong teams then to play 12-0 games in the round robin. Don't forget guys that real D1 starts next year. 2008's will turn 7 this year...

Battlax it's not like it will change something as we all made are choices anyways. Now it's up to the tournaments to deliver ! Have a good season everyone

hey guys go take a look at the 2003 D1 teams in the LEHQ ! its on their site in the member zone... here's the list Scorpions Bulldogs prospects Shériffs ( now playing LEAAAQ ) Évolution Panthères V-Red (New Brunswick team) Patriotes AAA SHD Selects ( Ottawa team) Hawks Maplesoft ( Ottawa team ) OMG the top Quebec teams are really all in the LEAAAQ

2 ligues et 1 choix facile à faire

Its looks like there is going to be a Montreal metropolitan league and a eastern division league !! Who's left in the LEHQ in Montreal besides Gouverneurs, Rockets and Ice Storm ? How bizarre. -
For regular teams it doesn't matter what side you play. All the teams now playing in the LEHQ have never won a single tournament. Maybe with lesser competition it's their time to shine ! Stallions and Vikings remain the top teams in 04. Where will they play ? In the LEAAAQ Can Jr and Cascades will be strong. Will Rousseau Royal have all the top players from Laval ? Two of their teams look good in atome BB. Do Stallions and Vikings play tournaments in the league with their road teams ? Lots of questions !

I'm disappointed in you Carey for not saying the truth. I didn't say he ran the league I said he's in charge of the rules. The've put back all the old THAAAQ rules that kills hockey in Quebec. He's mainly the reason why hockey is far from all other provinces and states. So next time when you talk about the Meltdown say the truth. The Meltdown has top travelling teams from all over but refuses Quebec players to make real competitive teams to compete. What a joke. Don't forget dinosaurs never adapted and ate everything in their path but one day they just disappeared...
-
The Meltdown is the same as the other tournaments only because the owner of the Meltdown Mr H. is the one in charge of the league rules... He's a dinosaur and runs the league as a dinosaur.

The reason why our hockey doesn't compare to Ontario and other provinces is those results ! We need atom AA now !!! Take away elite players from atom BB and let everyone play good hockey. We have teams in atom BB that are packed with talent and other teams who should play atom A. Can someone please open Hockey Quebec's eyes ? We should have atom AA in elite followed by atom CC in all municipalities. The middle of the pack atom BB team isn't better then a top atom CC in Beauce or Rosemere...

Id like to hear other parents as well. How was it special this year. I think its the first time all players from Quebec were eligible since their was only one league this season: the LEHQ. Correct me if I'm wrong but I heard in the previous years one of the leagues was controlling parents and organizations by having only players of their league go to the Brick. Maybe having one league proves that Quebec players are as good as other provinces and states. By the way their is a nice article on the league's website. It's nice to see them do something for the elite player's as they said they would. Maybe someone's really in the business for the kids after all ! -
