So it looks like pretty close games out in your area Stan. The only ones I've heard of in my region are;

 

Laval-Est (Laval) 10 vs Deux-Montagnes (Rive-Nord) 1.

Laval-Est (Laval) 1 vs Express (Laval) 2.

 

My son plays for Laval-Nord and we have the following exhibition games this weekend;

 

Laval-Nord (Laval) vs Deux-Montagnes (Rive-Nord) vendredi.

Laval-Nord (Laval) vs LaSalle (Mtl) samedi matin.

Laval-Nord (Laval) vs Coyotes (Scolaire) samedi soir.

Laval-Nord (Laval) vs LaSalle (Mtl) dimanche.

 

From my experience last year, the scores at the beginning of the year do not mean much, especially as some team haven't made their final cuts yet which is the case for Laval-Nord.

St-Jérôme vs Joliette saturday

Delta Ducs vs Joliette  Sunday

 

3 of our top players will not play those games.  Final cuts are supposed to be done Sunday.

 

We should not be a strong team again this year.

St Jérôme 2 vs Joliette 7

Delta Ducs 1 vs Joliette 5

 

Les coupures ont été faites après le deuxieme match. Delta Ducs était 4 joueurs en moins. Nous 3 tops joueurs dans les estrades. Du côté de St Jérôme, je ne connais pas le % de joueur qui feront partie de leur équipe. De notre côté, même scénario.

Here are the scores from Laval-Nord this weekend;

 

Laval-Nord (Laval) 6 vs Deux-Montagnes (Rive-Nord) 1. DM will be a tough team to beat after Christmas, big, strong, & a bunch of nice pieces on their team.

 

Laval-Nord (Laval) 6 vs LaSalle (Mtl) 1. LaSalle will be a decent team after Christmas in my opinion. Some good pieces & a great goalie will make them a respectable team.

 

Laval-Nord (Laval) 4 vs Coyotes (Scolaire) 2. This was a great back & forth game with lots of physicality. We played three 20 minute periods with the scolaire league rules on the Armada ice. Our LN team had played LaSalle just 4 hours before and we honestly didn't know what to expect against a very talented Coyotes team which had a couple of Brick players playing. I'm sure there will be a re-match scheduled.

 

Laval-Nord (Laval) 7 vs LaSalle (Mtl) 1. LaSalle was sitting about 7 of their confirmed players as they had not finalized their team yet.
